Peter Dragicevich, a currency strategist at business payments outlet Corpay, predicts the Aussie will rise to 63.5¢ against the euro by the end of next year.

“Diverging policy trends between the measured Reserve Bank of Australia and other more aggressive central banks will give the [Aussie] a helping hand,” he said. The RBA has not yet started its easing cycle and markets suggest the first rate cut will be in the first half of next year.
